Camp Horno's very own Thundering Third!
Third Battalion First Marines saw gruesome fighting during the Korean War at the Battles of Inchon and the Chosin Reservoir. They would later serve as the main element during Operation Phantom Fury in Iraq which saw some of the heaviest urban combat since the Battle of Huế City in the Vietnam War. In Fallujah, 3/1's very own (then) First Sergeant Kasal refused to stop fighting and saved the lives of several of his Marines after sustaining wounds from both 7.62 rounds and shrapnel. The iconic photo alone speaks for itself and attests to the motto of "balls of the corps." Pick up this tee and represent Brahma with pride!
